Pricing Example: A Family of Four

Let us crunch some realistic numbers for a typical family in Yarrabilba or Flagstone.

A family of four, two adults and two school-aged kids, usually produces around 20 to 25 kilograms of laundry per week. That includes everyday clothes, school uniforms, towels, activewear and the odd bedsheet.

At our Wash & Fold rate of $5.50 per kilogram, that works out to:

• 20 kg week: $110 for the wash and fold, plus $12.50 for pick up and delivery = $122.50
• 25 kg week: $137.50 for the wash and fold, plus $12.50 for pick up and delivery = $150

Our minimum order is $60, which most families easily reach. If you want items ironed as well, our Wash & Iron service combines $5.50/kg for the wash with per-item ironing from $2.75. Most families do wash and fold for the bulk of it and just add ironing for work shirts or school shirts.
