Terms of Service

The conditions that apply when you use our services.

1. Agreement

By using the services provided by Fresh Folds ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Services

Fresh Folds provides laundry services including washing, drying, folding, ironing, and pick-up and delivery across select suburbs in Logan, Ipswich, and Brisbane South, Queensland. The specific services available to you depend on your location and the service tier selected.

3. Quotes and Pricing

  • All quotes provided through our website or by phone are estimates based on the information you provide.
  • Final pricing may vary based on the actual weight, fabric type, or special handling requirements of your laundry.
  • Current pricing is listed on our website and may be updated from time to time. We will notify you of any price changes before processing your order.
  • Pick-up and delivery fees apply as outlined on our pricing page.

4. Pick-Up and Delivery

  • Pick-up and delivery times are estimates only. We will make reasonable efforts to meet scheduled times but cannot guarantee exact windows due to traffic, weather, or volume.
  • You must ensure laundry is accessible for collection at the agreed time. If we are unable to collect your laundry after a reasonable attempt, a re-collection fee may apply.
  • Delivery will be made to the address provided. We are not responsible for items left at the delivery address after successful drop-off.

5. Care of Garments

  • We take reasonable care when handling your garments and follow care label instructions where provided.
  • Please remove all items from pockets before collection. We are not responsible for damage to items left in pockets or for items that are not suitable for machine washing.
  • If a garment requires special handling (e.g., delicates, hand-wash only), please inform us at the time of booking. Items not flagged as requiring special care will be processed using our standard wash cycle.
  • We are not liable for damage caused by pre-existing conditions (worn fabric, loose buttons, colour bleeding from non-colourfast garments).

6. Liability

  • In the unlikely event that we damage or lose an item, our liability is limited to 10 times the service fee charged for that item, up to a maximum of $500 per item.
  • Claims must be made within 48 hours of delivery. Please inspect your laundry upon return and contact us immediately if there is an issue.
  • We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or special damages arising from the use of our services.
  • These limitations are subject to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, which cannot be excluded.

7. Payment

  • Payment is due upon completion of the service or at the time of delivery, unless otherwise agreed.
  • We accept payment by bank transfer, credit card, or other methods as advised at the time of booking.
  • Outstanding invoices not paid within 14 days may incur additional fees.

8. Cancellations

  • You may cancel a booking at any time before pick-up at no charge.
  • If you cancel after your laundry has been collected, you will be charged for the services already completed plus the return delivery fee.

9. Your Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate contact and address information when booking.
  • Ensure laundry is free of hazardous materials, sharps, or items that could cause harm to our staff or equipment.
  • Inform us of any known allergies or sensitivities to detergents or cleaning products.

10. Privacy

Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the Australian Privacy Act 1988.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
