Our wash and iron service includes everything in wash and fold at $5.50/kg, plus professional pressing charged per item. Ironing starts from just $2.75 per item for kids clothes and pillowcases, through to $4.17 for business shirts and blouses. Each item is ironed using commercial steam equipment that produces results a domestic iron simply cannot match. Collars sit flat, pleats hold their shape, and fabric looks smooth and crisp without the shiny patches that come from pressing too hard with a home iron.

Many of our customers use both services. They'll send casual clothes and kids' play clothes through wash and fold, then have work shirts, trousers, dresses, and school uniforms done as wash and iron. It's a practical way to keep costs reasonable while still having your professional wardrobe looking sharp.

How We Care for Pressed Garments

Not all fabrics respond the same way to heat and steam, and getting this wrong is how clothes end up with scorch marks or that flat, overworked look. Our team sorts garments by fabric type before pressing:

• Cotton shirts and blouses get high steam at the right temperature to achieve that crisp, professional finish
• Linen is pressed while still slightly damp for the best results, with attention to collars, cuffs, and plackets
• Polyester blends need lower heat to avoid melting fibres or creating permanent shine marks
• Wool trousers and skirts are pressed with a cloth barrier and steam to maintain the nap of the fabric

Our commercial pressing equipment delivers consistent, even heat and steam across the entire garment. That's something you genuinely cannot replicate at home, no matter how good your iron is. The finish lasts longer too, so your shirt still looks pressed by the end of a full work day.

Weekly Scheduling for Work Wardrobes

Most of our wash and iron customers settle into a weekly routine that keeps their wardrobe rotating without any effort. The most popular setup is a Monday collection, Wednesday return cycle. You put your worn work clothes from the previous week into a bag over the weekend, we collect Monday, and everything comes back pressed and ready to wear by midweek. Some customers prefer a split — collecting twice a week for a smaller, faster turnaround.

Pair this with our pick up and delivery and you won't even need to think about it. Leave the bag by the door, and your pressed clothes appear back on the same doorstep 48 hours later. It becomes part of your routine the same way the bins go out on Tuesday night.
